OVERVIEW

VNG Neotherm™ delivers therapeutic hypothermia (cooling therapy) for neonates — cooling the baby below normal body temperature to help the brain recover from a hypoxic-ischaemic injury. Treatment is generally most effective when started within six hours of birth. The system uses thermoelectric cooling (TEC) technology with a single mattress providing full-body neonatal coverage, and is mounted on a sturdy, castor-wheeled trolley with brakes.
