Reflections on Accessibility in Healthcare

19 Sept 2026 Murtuza Tambawala, Founder & CEO

Building Kanlife has been a journey filled with lessons, but one stands out above the rest: the importance of accessibility in healthcare. When I started Kanlife in Singapore back in 2009, my vision was clear — to make quality medical equipment available to those who need it most. This mission has only grown stronger as we expanded into India and London.

Every day, I am reminded of the challenges many healthcare professionals face in accessing the right tools and technologies. It's not just about selling products; it's about ensuring that hospitals and clinics have what they need to provide the best care possible. I’ve seen firsthand how the right equipment can transform patient outcomes, and it fuels my passion for this work.

As we continue to grow, I remain committed to fostering partnerships with manufacturers and healthcare providers alike. Together, we can bridge the gap between innovation and accessibility, ultimately improving healthcare for everyone.

It's a collective effort, and I’m grateful to be part of this vital industry, working alongside dedicated professionals who share this vision.
